Standing up for Scarborough–Agincourt

  • Tasleem has lived in the GTA since 2005 and has been a strong voice for her community dedicated to meaningful change for the better
  • She has worked with immigrant communities, supported marginalized women and has helped found many impactful organizations including the Sisters to Sisters movement
  • Currently a social-work student, Tasleem understands that families in Scarborough-Agincourt are feeling the squeeze and having a hard time making ends meet
  • She is committed to advocate for the community by lowering hydro rates, bringing Hydro One back into public hands and making sure everyone – regardless of age or income – has access to the dental care and pharmacare they need
